Overview 

You can limit which clients a product is available for by turning on Restrict Client Access. This keeps a product visible only to the clients and stores you choose, which is useful when an item is offered to some customers but not others. You set the availability rule and pick who the product is available for, right down to the store level. 

Before You Start

You need access to the Products/Services page and permission to edit products. Decide which clients or stores the product should be available for before you begin. 

How to Restrict Client Access to a Product

1. In the left navigation menu, select Product and Services. 

2. Click the pencil icon to edit an existing product, or the plus (+) icon to create a new one. 

3. Check the Restrict Client Access box to limit which clients can access the item. 

4. Choose the Availability By option from the list. 

5. Select who the item is available for from the Available For list. 

6. Click Stores to manage store-level settings. 

7. Click Save to complete the process. 

Tips and Things to Know

• Leave the restriction off to make a product available to everyone. 

• Availability By plus Available For define exactly who can access the item. 

• Use the Stores option to fine-tune access at the store level. 

• Handy when a product is offered only to specific customers.
