Overview 

Quick Edit lets you update several products at once from a single panel, without opening each product. You can quickly change fields such as tax rate, discount, product tag, and stock limit for all of the selected products. It is the fastest way to apply the same change to a group of products. 

Before You Start

You need access to the Products/Services page and permission to edit products. Select all of the products you want to change before opening the quick-edit panel, since the update applies to the whole selection. 

How to Quick-Edit Products

1. In the left navigation menu, select Product and Services. 

2. Use the checkboxes to select the products you want to edit. 

3. Click the pencil (edit) icon in the top-right corner. 

4. Edit fields such as tax rate, discount, product tag, and stock limit for all selected products. 

5. Click OK to save the changes. 

Tips and Things to Know

• Quick Edit is best for applying the same value to many products at once. 

• Confirm your selection first—every selected product receives the change. 

• For edits that vary by product, the Excel method scales better. 

• Common uses include updating tax rates or stock limits across a group.
