Overview 

You can add many products at once by importing a data file instead of creating each one by hand. You choose your file, set the delimiter that separates its values, and import. FieldPie reads the file and adds the products to your catalog. Setting the delimiter correctly is the key step, since it tells FieldPie how to split each row into fields. 

Before You Start

You need access to the Products/Services page and permission to import data. Prepare your file first and know which delimiter separates the values in it. 

How to Import Products

1. In the left navigation menu, select Products/Services. 

2. Click the import icon in the top-right corner. 

3. Click Choose File and select the data file you want to import. 

4. Click Next to continue. 

5. Click the pencil icon to open the delimiter options. 

6. Enter the delimiter character, then click Save to apply the delimiter settings. 

7. Click Next to move to the final step. 

8. Click Import Data to import your products. 

Tips and Things to Know

• The delimiter separates values in your file—set it so each field lands correctly. 

• Prepare all your products in one file for a single bulk import. 

• Check that your columns match the product fields you expect. 

• For updating existing products, the export-edit-import method is usually better.
