Overview

The Messages area gives you access to the FieldPie Feed and Message Center. You can review Feed updates, post a new Feed message, send messages to selected contacts, and view text messages after the Twilio integration is completed.

Before You Start

You need access to the Messages area. To view text messages, your Twilio integration must already be completed.

How to Use Messages and the Feed

1. Click the message box icon in the top-right corner.

2. Click FEED to view the latest updates and posts.

3. Review the Feed or enter a new Feed message in the text box below.

4. Click Send to post the update and share it with your team.

5. Click MESSAGES to open the Message Center in the FieldPie Dashboard.

6. Review existing messages or click NEW MESSAGE to compose a new message.

7. Select the people you want to message using the checkboxes.

8. Enter the subject and message details in the box that appears.

9. Click SEND to deliver the message to the selected recipients. 

10. Click BACK to return to the previous screen or message list.

11. After the Twilio integration is completed, you can also view your text messages.

Tips and Things to Know

• Use FEED for team updates and posts.

• Use MESSAGES when you want to review or compose messages.

• Select recipients with the checkboxes before sending a new message.

• Text messages become available after the Twilio integration is completed.
