Overview 

The basic settings define your company’s core details and defaults across FieldPie—company name, default visit duration, working days and hours, currency, language, and unit system. These values shape scheduling, display, and how time and money appear throughout the app. Getting them right early gives every other feature a sensible foundation, and working days and hours in particular are required for route optimization to function. 

Before You Start 

You need administrator access to Settings. Have your company details ready, including your standard working days and hours, preferred currency, language, and whether you use imperial or metric units. 

How to Configure Basic Company Settings

1. Click your profile in the top-right corner, then click Settings. 

2. Enter your company name. 

3. Optionally, you can enter a company phone number. 

4. Enter the default visit duration in minutes. 

5. Click Manage Working Days and Hours to configure your team’s availability. 

6. Click the time fields below Start and End, choose the times, and click OK to confirm. 

7. Use the buttons under Work Days to enable or disable the days you want, then click Save. 

8. Select the default currency, such as US Dollar, Euro, or Turkish Lira. 

9. Confirm the default language (English is selected by default). 

10. Select the Imperial or Metric unit system. 

11. Click Save to store the settings.

• Default visit duration speeds up scheduling by pre-filling a sensible length. 

• Currency and unit system affect how money and distances display everywhere.
