How to Export Activity Data

Overview 

You can export the forms, photos, notes, and other media attached to your activities directly from the Activities screen. You can add detailed location information to the report using the Include Location Details option, and download everything as an XLSX or CSV file. This is how you get field-captured data out of FieldPie for deeper analysis or sharing.

Before You Start 

You need access to the Activities area and permission to export data. Filter the list first so the export covers the activities you want, and decide whether you need location details in the report.

How to Export Activity Data

  1. In the left navigation menu, select Activities. 
  1. Click the export icon to export the forms, photos, notes, and media of the activities. 
  1. Click Include Location Details to add detailed location information to your report.
  1. Export the data in XLSX or CSV format. 

Tips and Things to Know

  • Filter before exporting so the report covers only the activities you want. 
  • Turn on Include Location Details when you need location-level context in the report.
  • Choose XLSX for Excel or CSV to load into another system. 
  • For summarized trends instead of raw data, use the Advanced Analytics area.
